The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako created a position to assist with Community Economic Development across the Regional District. The Regional Strategic Development Analyst works with the Board of Directors, Municipalities, and existing economic development agencies to diversify the Regional economy and increase resident quality of life. The mandate for this position includes marketing the Region for the purposes of new business attraction as well as tourism, business support services, and non-profit society assistance. |

Business Assistance
The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako works to communicate business opportunities to existing businesses, such as export opportunities in relation to the development of the Prince Rupert Port and participation in Trade Missions to other countries. Look for business opportunities in our quarterly newsletter. We also offer assistance to businesses looking to expand or new businesses in the start-up phase. The Regional District can provide you with important business planning tools such as demographic information and listing of support businesses in our Region. We can also direct you to organizations that can assist with creating business plans and meeting your financial requirements. Non-Profit Assitance
We can provide your non-profit society with assistance in project planning and implementation. We can direct you to funding sources for your projects, as well as offer advice on your application, assist with interpreting funding guidelines and criteria, review your funding applications, or prepare applications on your behalf.
