Fort Fraser Water / Wastewater Operator

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako requires an operator to maintain and operate the community of Fort Fraser’s Water and Wastewater Systems.

General Duties of the Operator Include:
•Operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater systems including emergency call out asrequired, water and wastewater quality monitoring, record keeping and reporting;
•Purchasing required materials to carry out the day-to-day operations and repairs;
•Overseeing and coordinating repair and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure

Nature and Scope of Position:
•Works a flexible 10 hours per week to provide basic assessment, monitoring and general maintenanceof the water and wastewater systems;
•Additional hours will be required for special repair, installation, or maintenance projects.
