The Fort St. James Rural Official Community Plan (OCP) review is underway!

The Regional District has launched a process to update the OCP for Rural Fort St. James.  The entire process is estimated to take up to 18 months to complete and will start off with an engagement event (format to be determined) in the early spring of 2022.  The purpose of the engagement event is to introduce the review process and to provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide input regarding land use and community development related issues.

Below you can find the Board report initiating the process, the current OCP text document (Schedule A), the Land Use Designation Maps (Schedule B) and the Ecological and Wildlife Value Map (Schedule C).

If you have any questions regarding the Rural Fort St. James OCP or the review process, please do not hesitate to contact the Planning Department at planning@rdbn.bc.ca or 250-692-3195 toll free 1-800-320-3339.
