In the event that your residence is at imminent risk of flooding, the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako will provide residents with sandbags and coordinate the delivery of sand if needed.

Residents are responsible for picking up sandbags at the directed location, filling the sandbags with sand, and sandbagging their property.

Please complete the following Request for Sandbags Form or email protective.services@rdbn.bc.ca or fax to 250-692-3305. The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako's hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Outside of these hours, if you are in an emergency situation not requiring 911 services, please call the Provincial Emergency Coordination Centre at 1-800-663-3456.

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako will not be liable to any person or entity for loss or damages of any kind, including economic loss, caused by the sandbags or as a result of insufficient availability, supply, or quantity of sandbags or how the sandbags are used.
