Fort St. James, British Columbia, December 19, 2016 - The governments of Canada and British Columbia are committed to investing in local infrastructure to ensure Canadians have access to reliable, high quality recreational facilities. These important investments create jobs, strengthen the economy and connect people to their communities.
With support from the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako’s federal Gas Tax Fund allocation, the Fort St. James Ski Club has made an important investment in the Murray Ridge Ski Area’s facilities. A newly built maintenance shop now houses essential tools and grooming machinery -- equipment needed to maintain the ski hills and also extend the season for locals and tourists.
The Ski Club can now perform regular and specialized maintenance in a safe, secure and healthy environment while helping to protect valuable equipment for years to come.
