Agriculture in the Bulkley-Nechako is predominantly ranching and forage country.  Most agricultural activity is located in the west (Bulkley Valley) and east of the region (Nechako Valley) where land, business, and organizations support diverse agriculture activities. The region supports three abattoir facilities, well-established farmers’ markets, and strong local support of the agriculture sector. The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako offers a world of opportunity in the agriculture sector.
