Agriculture Programs & Funding

There are several programs available to B.C. agriculture producers and food processors. Some of these programs help manage risk (e.g., AgriStabilty, Production Insurance), while others offer cost-share funding for improving farm management practices (e.g., On-Farm Climate Action Program, Beneficial Management Practices Program).

Many of the programs below are funded through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP). For a listing of programs and funding offered by the B.C. government intended to support agriculture and seafood producers, as well as food and beverage processors please see here.

Note: This list does not include agriculture portfolios offered by some banks, eg. TD Canada Trust, Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal, etc.
