What’s happening?

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako is working on a Parks and Trails Master Plan for Electoral Area G (Houston/Granisle Rural). This plan will build on the great work already being done by local outdoor recreation providers and help us figure out how the Regional District can deliver new and improved parks and trails services over the next 10 years.

Our goal is to make sure we’re providing parks and trails in a way that makes sense for the community, is cost-effective for taxpayers, and works well with existing services.

How to get involved?

The first round of engagement will include a public pop-up event and an online survey.

Join us in person:

Friday August 22

Houston Farmer’s Market
12:00 – 4:00 pm
Steelhead Park, Fort St. James

The online survey will be posted here August 15-September 1, 2025.

We’d love for you to participate and help shape the future of outdoor recreation in our region! Stay tuned for more info, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
