Special Disposal requests must have prior authorization and can only be accepted at a landfill, these loads cannot be disposed of at a Transfer Station. Special disposal request forms are required in the following circumstances:
-          Demolition of an entire home or commercial building, including buildings that have been destroyed by fire.
-          Loads that may require special handling at the landfill, such as slaughter waste, geotextile materials, or shredded             or ground material. This list is not exhaustive, please call if you have questions about your material.
-          Waste that originates from out-of-region.
-          Multiple loads over a short period of time (e.g. 30m3 in one day per proejct).
-          Multiple large loads of the same material.
-          Large volume loads from the same project delivered over a prolonged period.

Disposal requests require a minimum of three business days notice to process. Large projects and controlled material may require more notice. Please call for more information at 1-800-320-3339.

If your load includes hazardous waste, including asbestos, please also review the webpage regarding this type of disposal at https://www.rdbn.bc.ca/departments/recycling-garbage-andutilities/asbestos-disposal . Additional documents may be required.

Once a disposal request is approved, an agreement will be forwarded for your signature. This agreement should be shown to the attendant with each load delivered.
