Municipal Resources

The RDBN’s member municipalities play a key role in addressing housing needs within the region. In recognition of this, the RDBN has advanced a Regional Housing Initiative focused on supporting the RDBN's member municipalities in meeting the region’s housing challenges in a coordinated and proactive manner.

This includes:

  • support for the planning and development of housing projects;
  • facilitating collaboration with municipal or senior government to identify and acquire land that could be used to support development goals; and
  • support for the review of plans, bylaws, and development approval procedures in partnership with municipalities
